Clinical Hypnotherapy makes it a lot easier to stop smoking by reducing cravings and withdrawal symptoms and in some cases removing them altogether. Think about the reasons why you want to take part in stop smoking hypnosis. Are you bored of smoking and have no enjoyment from it anymore? Do you want to improve your overall heath? Do you only smoke when you are stressed or anxious?

You also need to ask yourself what it is you enjoy about smoking. We can only begin with your hypnosis session when we consider in detail your perceptions of smoking and assess how willing you are to change your views of it. It is important to know that smoking does nothing for you; it puts nicotine into your body which then leaves the body slowly over 3 days. Although you may only smoke to relieve the withdrawal symptoms it causes, smoking also builds a habit within the subconscious mind. During our stop smoking hypnosis session, we have to break that habit.

Nicotine withdrawal is often mistaken for stress or anxiety as it is an uncomfortable feeling when leaving the body. However, when your mind is motivated you will not even notice these withdrawals. Think of a time when you have been on a flight and you hardly noticed you could not smoke because you were either excited for your holiday or possibly anxious about flying. This can also happen when you are busy in the office and half the day has gone by without you realising it, or even when you are at the cinema. Withdrawal symptoms are only strong when we give them a lot of thought and think about them intensely.

Stop smoking hypnosis helps you break the habit in your subconscious mind. Because your subconscious mind controls 85% of your actions, stop smoking hypnosis will motivate it to break the habit of smoking. It will also help the subconscious and conscious mind work together so that you are both consciously and subconsciously motivated to stop smoking.

In stop smoking hypnosis, I will explain how nicotine leaves the body. An additional thing to consider when you stop smoking is the intensity of your stress. Most stresses are a state of mind, for example two people could be stuck in traffic and while one may relaxes and listen to music, the other could experience road rage. The way we think about stress can affect us in lots of negative ways. If you think your smoking habit is a result of stress, I have many exercises and hypnosis techniques to combat this.

Stop smoking hypnosis motives your mind both consciously and subconsciously. By training both aspects of your mind cooperatively, as your Clinical Hypnotherapist, I will remove your nicotine withdrawal symptoms and break your habit so that you are happy to be a non-smoker.
